We are looking for  qualified Speech-language Therapists to join our dedicated and supportive team. The roles are flexible in both areas of expertise, time commitments  and  locations throughout New Zealand.

Currently we specialise in Residential Care and provide professional services to adults who have swallowing and/or communication difficulties.  We also offer community based services to adults with swallowing and/or communication difficulties, as well as research and teaching opportunities. About us
The Speech-language Therapy (SLT) team working for Swallow and Speech Therapy Consultants (SSTC) currently provides SLT services to adults living in Long Term Residential Care Facilities. We also work across a range of specialist areas including neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, oncology, neurosurgery, and  head & neck cancer.

There are plentiful opportunities to work collaboratively with partners across the region/country to develop high quality, innovative Speech Language Therapy services.

About you
To be successful in this position, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes :

  • Bachelor’s qualification in Speech Language Therapy or equivalent

  • Registered member of the New Zealand Speech-language Therapists’ Association (NZSTA) with current annual practicing certificate (APC)

  • Excellent communicator, with a can-do attitude and an innovative approach to problem solving
